Part of a Larger World
At DCCES, or world language is Spanish. Beginning with the alphabet in kindergarten, students work their way through vocabulary and phrases that align with what they are working on in their current Unit of Inquiry.
Through songs, visuals, games and activities, students will explore both the language and culture of Spanish speaking communities. By fifth grade, students will have an age appropriate grasp of the language and view the world through the lens of a globally minded citizen.
